Who’s a Good Fit?

For the person who's tried everything and still feels like something is missing.

Maybe you've read the books, tried the coping strategies, followed the latest advice, and gotten some relief along the way. Yet there's still a sense that you're stuck in old patterns or searching for something deeper.

Therapy with me isn't about quick fixes or endless conversations about your week. It's about creating meaningful change, understanding yourself in a new way, and building a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, though I see these labels as only part of a larger story. Together, we'll look beyond symptoms and explore what's really keeping you stuck.

I'm not the stereotypical therapist. I'll challenge you when needed, encourage growth, and help you move beyond insight into action. Simply put, I became the therapist I once needed, and my goal is to help you find the lasting change you've been searching for.

Let Me Break It Down For You

Therapy is a process, and for most people it unfolds in three stages.

First, we build understanding. I'll get to know your story, where you are today, what you've already tried, and what's helped or hindered your progress.

Next, we explore possibilities. Together, we'll look at patterns, perspectives, and approaches that may have been overlooked. If what you've been doing isn't getting you where you want to go, it's time to consider a different path.

Finally, we create change. Insight is important, but lasting growth comes through action. We'll turn our discoveries into practical steps and real-world experiments that help you move toward the life you want.

Throughout the process, my role is not to tell you what your goals should be. My job is to help you clarify what matters most to you and support you in making meaningful, lasting changes.

That’s Simple, Why Do I Need A Therapist?

That’s right! It is simple, but simple doesn’t always translate to easy.

Knowing what to do and being able to do it are two very different things.

We all have blind spots. We avoid uncomfortable truths, struggle with vulnerability, and sometimes create barriers without realizing it. When you're inside your own experience, it can be difficult to see yourself clearly.

Therapy provides a space to slow down, step back, and gain perspective. My role isn't to tell you who you are or how to live your life. It's to help you see yourself more accurately, recognize the patterns that keep you stuck, and support you in making meaningful changes.

A therapist is more than a collection of techniques or theories. At their best, they're a trusted mirror. Someone who reflects back what might be difficult to see on your own without judgment, distortion, or an agenda.

What’s Next?

If you’d like to take the next step with me as your therapist, it would be best to schedule a consultation. This gives us a brief moment to get to know each other without any obligations. You can begin to scratch the surface of what you’re looking for, ask any questions you may have, and I may have some questions of my own to ensure I have a basic understanding of what to expect on our first day. During the consultation, you can expect to have a gut feeling as to whether or not we’re a good fit.
